Hanover Presbyterian Cemetery

The Hanover Presbyterian Cemetery is located on Logan's Point in Hanover. The cemetery is open from dawn to dusk. If you are interested in purchasing a plot for yourself or a loved one, please contact the church office for more information.

History

When the first church building existed (across the street from the current building) the cemetery was located in front, where Main Street now exists. When the new building was built and land was donated to the church, the graves and stones were moved to their current location.

Many veterans are buried in Hanover Presbyterian Cemetery, dating back to the Revolutionary War. Each year on the Sunday before Memorial Day there is a service held at the cemetery to remember those who have died and to celebrate the joy of resurrection.

The cemetery is maintained by a dedicated group of church members and community members. We are grateful for their good work on preserving this space.
