Personnel Committee

Our Purpose is to meet the needs of personnel:  “to give counsel and support, to be a listening ear and a helping hand;” and be “a support group for pastor and staff in time of triumph or trouble, in dealing with problems, personal or professional, keeping staff from feeling isolated,”  from Guidelines for Session Personnel Committees.  Confidentiality – all important.   We meet these responsibilities by assigning one member to be a liaison for each staff member and church and by carrying out functions such as review position, descriptions, personnel policies, salary, reviewing work objectives, conducting compensation and performance reviews, evaluating accomplishments in a scheduled and mutually helpful way.
